I recently bought Active Home Medical from Terry and Lori and am so excited to be working in my local community! I was immediately drawn to Active because of their excellent reputation and knew this was the right company for me! I am new to the medical industry but Lori and Terry are staying on to ensure a smooth transition without missing a beat on customer service. I live locally, am married with 2 sons and am a big Spartan fan! (graduated in 1990!)

I've worked at Active Home Medical for 4 years. I am mainly responsible for Purchasing but also do shipping & receiving and customer service. I oversee all recurring orders for patients and CPAP set-ups. I'm married to my husband of 31 years and we have 3 adult children. We live in the local area. I love to read, shop, relax and travel. I have always had a passion for helping people... that is why I love to work at Active Home Medical Supply!

I am the mother of 1 amazing daughter! I grew up in Lapeer and graduated in 1999.I enjoy bowling, boating, camping and spending time with my family and friends. My job entails greeting customers as they arrive, verifying insurance coverage and helping customers select the correct products for their needs. I also handle accounts receivables and aim to move more into sales as opportunities allow.

My name is Lori Sears. My husband Terry founded Active Home Medical in 1989 and I came along for the ride. Over the years I've done everything from driving the hi-lo to management to patient care. My love for this business and the many patients we've served goes deep through my heart! My favorite part has always been working with patients and caregivers and, now that we have a new owner to take care of the business side of things, I get to spend my time doing just that! I especially love setting up CPAP patients and coaching them to get through the initial hurdles because I believe so strongly in the effectiveness of sleep therapy. For many patients it is truly life changing. When I'm not working, I love having fun with my husband Terry, my two grown sons, Joe and Jake, my English Sheepdog Zoe or, my other family and friends. I love to boat, golf, shoot skeet, play games and, even though my social work degree is from Oakland University, I'm a Spartan at heart and love to go to MSU football games and watch the marching band!

My name is Terry Sears. I'm the founder and former President of Active Home Medical Supply. I was working as a respiratory therapist when I thought patients deserved better service than they my employer was allowing us to give so I started Active Home Medical more than 30 years ago. I feel good knowing that even with all of the changes in healthcare we still put the patient on the top of our priority list!As I start to move toward retirement, I'm still doing a little bit of everything so you can call me the "Oxygen Guy", the "Wheelchair Guy" or the "Shoe Guy". When I'm not working, I'd rather be known as the "Golf Guy". I love to play and teach golf and I especially love when my wife, Lori, and my 2 sons, Joe and Jake, can join me and we golf together. I also love horticulture and playing with my English Sheepdog, Zoe, as well as cheering on MSU in all of their sports!
